Seeing them increasingly often on television, the yellowy orangy flickers overlayed on to various things to create a film burn effect and, although most of them are wrongly applied, would love to know how to do them. I’ve tried doing them using the levels controls and fast blur (similar to the method in the film flash tutorials) and by creating coloured solids and playing with their transfer modes, they always look really fake and really useless. If someone could post a tutorial or something that’d be really helpful, the more detailed the better! Thanks!
