  Files Overwritten. Need Some Direction.

  Had a nightmare scenario happen with a cameraman today. He went to transfer some footage from a card to an external hard drive and inadvertently overwrote the files from a previous day of shooting. Naturally, he didn’t have it backed up. Any advice or direction on if or how we can recover the overwritten files? Using a Mac.
