    Hi everybody,
I’m making my first dvd, that must be at least 80mins long, of course the files are too big.

have AVCHD footage , the dvd has has 8 chapters, premier has converted to MTS and then Adobe media Encoder to several different formats that I’ve tried, the smallest file being around 637mb for a 20min clip in mpeg-2 and 561mb in mpeg-4

Now when I add the clip to Encore it takes about 1,1gb on the disk, is this normal ?

The other problem is , as I’m running play whole video in the menu as well as the chapter menu, Encore seems too need the same clip loaded twice, therefore taking 2.2 gb , resulting in a maximum length of 40 mins.

I’m working in 16×9 with Creative cloud and Encore cs6 so no direct link, I’ve tried media encoder after Premier and also after Encore with no success.
I know nothing about codecs other than I’ve tried everything that seems logical on media encoders list.

Sorry this is so long but I really need help.
    Phill
