    Hi there folks,

I am using compressor to try and get this short video https://www.vimeo.com/24415806
to a size of 10mb or less. I am using Compressor I have managed to get it down to about 26mb using settings where the quality is minimal for everything possible.

I have taken downloaded the video from Vimeo as I no longer have the original file to work with nor the original sequence. Lesson learnt!!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Kind Regards

    Sam

It’s very simple math. Data rate and duration is file size.

As you lower the data rate and the quality deteriorates your next option would be lower the frame size.
Some would lower the frame rate be to me that’s a major temporal motion quality loss.

Hi there, thanks for the answer, I tried it and never got below 10mb only 10.4mb. The quality was horrible.

Sorted out in the end though, client was happy to go with quality rather than size. 🙂

    Thank you again.
