    Hi guys
When i render videos in AE, (current settings, lossless) the file size is enormous. Does anyone have any tips on rendering an HD video while keeping a streamlined file size?
    Thanks

The video will be played at 720 dpi on the web. I am rendering it with lossless settings in the output module and “current settings” in the render settings section.

Thanks, well i want to post it on my own website. so the lossless file is set at avi format, depth: millions of colors, color: premultiplied, channel: RGB

The current settings are: 1920 X 1080, field render: off, frame rate: 29.97

a 30 secon file is about 8 gigs

[Dave LaRonde] “It’s built for quick ‘n dirty compression…”

… or very little compression, for high-quality files to be delivered somewhere else for more processing.

(just preventing potential misunderstanding in the audience …)
