    Is there anyway to tell the camera to name the clips in a sequential order as you shoot them, e.g. F100, F101, F102….? The numbering system Panasonic uses to name clips is totally useless to me in post and although I can number and rename each one in the bin, (PremierePro), this is counter productive.

    P2CMS allows you to create Metadata and save to a SD card. You can load the Metadata onto your camera.

    Do you have FCP 7? Then yes, you can. Look at the NAME PRESET options in the Log and Transfer tool. Not running FCP 7? Then no, not in FCP at least. But with P2 Flow…yes. That and a whole lot more.

    I’m using CS5 production Studio and Win7 Ultimate 64. Maybe some day Panasonic will write 64 bit code for some of their software but I’m not holding my breath.
