File name problems using LaT with P2 footage
I have stumbled across something strange and irritating:
When I use Log and Transfer from my P2 footage to FCP, some files get a red exclamation mark. The file is named 82784738.937378927.mov (or similar) and the clip does not show in Bin. I can rename the clip in Finder and then import in FCP and it (seems to) works fine.
Have you seen this? Any tips? Keeping the clip names (stupidly) short usually works, but hey – sometimes you really want to put info into the clip name. I’m not using any of the other boxes for info.

You got it. Keep the clip name shorter and put the long name in the log note section.
