“File In Use” causes project error after export
Hey, I just performed an export of my latest cut, uncompressed using Pro Res 422. The export completed, but then everything went awry.
Opening off the external HD gives message: “This Movie Could Not Be Opened. The File is Busy”
Copying to desktop gives message: “The operation can’t be completed because the item “All Sequence3/27” is in use.”
I cannot eject my HD because it claims the file is in use.
And finally, my Project file won’t open anymore.
What did I do, and how can I fix it?

Restart your computer.
Then try to open your project file again. If it won’t open, then open an autosave or your backup project file.
