I have Premeier CS3 and just purchased the book- “Adobe Premere Pro CS3 Classroom in a Book:. When I try to open up the first lesson, I get an error message that says:

“File format not supported” – I’m trying to open Lesson1.prpoj. Can anyone assist me with this, I can’t even get pass step one.

I don’t currently have Apple Quicktime on my computer. Should I install it and if so what version. Thanks.

Eddie or anyone who can help. I had the same problem as Angela, then I found this thread and installed Qiucktime. All was well for a few days, then as I moved to lesson 6 file format not supported reared its head again. I tried updating Quicktime, but this did not help. I ran the previous release of Quiktime from a shadow copy with no luck, I uninstalled and reinstalled Quicktime with no luck, I set Quicktime to have all defaults and customized the defaults both with no luck. Can anyone help? Thanx.

One of the links on this page will hopefully have the answer to your specific needs. Don’t ignore a link because the title doesn’t look relevant.
