    Hello all,

I’m just starting to use Adobe Premier pro, after having used for the last 7 years FCP.
I have to do a switch from FCP and Premier pro seems a good options as I heard.
However I’m already having trouble with very simple things 🙁

I have some HDV media that was captured on CF card. It’s this in File base structure. I’d like to ingest that in Premier but when I do File->import -> i select the folder of the CF card (copies to a hard drive) a message pops up and tells me File format not supported. I read everywhere that HDV is supported by premier pro. I have my sequence preset set for HDV 1080p25 (its European footage) but I don’t know what to do. Can someone help me ?

    Thank you for reading !

Try bringing it in by first ~ opening the media browser, then bring clips into project.
