I film my cousin weeding and she wants me to make her a film.
i’d use a mini Dv Cam. I captured clip with adobe premiere pro 2.0.
I wandered what file format should i used ? They automaticly been capture in AVi files. Is that the best working format or its to big ?

And second, i’d put s Sepia effect with adobe after effect and when i import the new file and put it into time line, the file is playing like a robot.
Im waiting for info please !

Well, you have a couple of options. If you could make your cuts in Premiere, then you could export as DV AVI to After Effects, make sure to uncheck the always recompress box. If you do have transitions but no color correction, you might still be able to export DV avi without major quality loss.

Then, if all you need is titles and color correction (or Sepia Tone effect), that all can be done in After Effects, without a need to go back to Premiere. If you have the production bundle, you can then link directly to Encore without rendering. If you don;t and are using a third party DVD authoring software, or Premuere to create the DVD, then you should export uncompressed, and that’s about a GIG per minute of footage for SD. Not sure what you mean by like a robot. Is it skipping frames ? If you did export uncompressed from After Effects, Premiere may have a hard time to deal with the new file until it’s rendered.

Just make the sepia effect in Premiere Pro instead. Or export as DV AVI from After Effects so rendering is not needed again.
