    Hi,

The 2gb limit applies to AVI files. Check your output settings and make sure you haven’t inadvertantly set the file type to AVI someplace.

    good luck,
    Carl

    this isnt the problem
    quicktime movie
    custom
    format options—>animation—>millions of colors
my movie is 12 min and i have 18gb free on my HD
may its because the avid installation is on c: partition and the project is on d: partition
but still i have the problem…
i checked in avid forum and i saw that i m not the only one…
    do u have any suggestions?
thanks a lotand i m not the only one

As far as I’m aware there is a 2GB limit on Avid systems. The solution is normally to break the files down into smaller sections but that makes the export option a touch tricky.
