I have been using the same export settings for months, mistakenly believing that they work for iPhone and iPad. I am trying to send a client a file that she can run on either iDevice without having to go to YouTube. I got this at another forum:

    File Format-MP4
    Video Format-H264
    Data Rate 5000 kbits/sec
    optimized for streaming
    Image size 1280 x 720
    Frame rate 24
    Keyframe every 24 frames
    Audio Format AAC-LC (Music)
    Data rate 160 kbps
    channels stereo
    output sample rate
    encoding quality better
    enable streaming
    max packet size 1450 bytes
    max packet duration 100 ms

The client keeps complaining that this is a Flash file and her devices won’t read it. It works on her devices from YouTube, but no other way, even when I directly downloaded it from YouTube. I tried the iPhone setting for the export (m4v). It doesn’t work either. Where am I missing the boat here?

    Dual Core PPC G5
    OS 10.5.8
    FÇP 6.0.6
