! File Error: Unkown file.
every time i get to a specific point in my sequence all stops and i get “file error: unknown file”
everything plays normal before and after that darned spot… i am really at a loss. anyone ever get this and know how to fix it?
i removed the clips in that area jpeg, aif, and a wav… still nothing helps.thanks guys!

trashing preferences seemed to fix it

Could be now that you are getting this because of a render file that won’t go away.
If you’ve got time… look up render manager in the manual. You’ll be able to flush the renders and re render.
Might be that one of your photoshop files was CMYK????
Really hard to tell.

Thanks Captain! I think the problem was a render issue and the fact that i closed out FCP to trash the preference files did the trick… because when i opened the project it said some “render files have gone off line.”
