file error on render
Often when I render, I recieve a “FILE ERROR: The specified file is open and in use by this or another application.” No other application is running except FCP. I am sometimes selecting an entire sequence to render, but it also happens when I have just selected a smaller segment to render. But again it is inconsisten and does not happen every time.
When it happens I just say okay and hit render again it usually continues, but sometimes it takes a couple of trys before it finishes.
It never really stops me because it eventually does the job, but I thought it was time to get the bottom of it. Any thoughts? Thanks.
