    Hi all:

    I’m getting some harmless-but-annoying “file attribute mismatch” errors when importing clips through XML. The circunstances are:

    1) In one of the cases, an assistant captured some DV clips in another computer, and then I exported them using XML and imported them to my main project in my computer. When relinking the files to their new locations, FCP complained about “file attribute mismatch”, specifically about “number of video or audio tracks” being different, but I tell it to relink anyway and there doesn’t seem to be any problem. (Of course, the media files haven’t changed at all from one computer to another, so I don’t understand why FCP thinks that the n

    Since you’re running the same version of FCP on both computers don’t bother with XML, instead just send FCP project files with the clips you need.
