I am new at c4d but would love some tips on how to approach this scene.

    I need to have a globe/(sphere) spinning.
In each continent I need to have several clusters of the little simple figure I modeled growing or popping up and standing on the globe.

I have tried using a cloner but it ends up looking too uniform.

The clusters would be like 5 or 6.

and I only need them to live on the land not the water.
    so

so as the globe spins we see them popping up or growing.

is there a simple way to do this?
    Much Appreciated

Thinking particles would work too. Use a single shot emitter.
Have you tried Mograph with the random effector too?

I think Shader Effector will do the job. So the scene must to look like this: Cloner object with the object mode(in the object field you must put your globe), Shader Effector with contintns map image inside “Shader” field and fallof like box or whatever you want. In the Scale parameter of Shader Effector you must enter -1,-1,-1. so while you move your effector through the globe it must be animating. Dont forget to put your shader effector in the Effectors field of your Cloner object.

The effect would be like all continent surface will full your clones.
If you want to change that, just change the image of your map.
