Fields Blending in DV NTSC
I’m having a problem with fields blending in Premiere. I created graphics in After Effects and when I import the file into Premiere, it blends the even and odd fields so there’s only 240 pixels top to bottom. The problem is that the text in the graphics are small (it’s a ticker for a sports program) so the field blending ruins the legibility.
The video out of After Effects is clear and legible; 480 pixels, no field blending.
I’ve looked everywhere for a setting in Premiere to stop it from blending fields (the video imports fine when the settings are 1080p rather than DV NTSC) but can’t find it.
Please help.

Are you exporting progressive?
This looks likes interlaced footage that was deinterlaced, or previously progressive footage(as it would could from AE), that was first interlaced and then deinterlaced again.

Also where are you previewing the footage? externally on a CRT? or internally on a computer monitor?
