Field problems in FCP5
Everytime I use text or graphics in layers in FCP5, especially shadows, my fields become misaligned, causing major flickering.
I have to do all my titling in LIVE Type which I don’t want to have to do for every little title. I use PAL. Is this a major
bug or something? Has any one else experienced it?Thanks,

Have you updated to 5.0.2? Had the same problem and it has been fixed.

If you do not already know about this trick, double click your title to make it appear in the viewer window. Be sure the “center” parameter in the motion tab of the viewer window is on an even number: 2, 8, 164, 228, etc… (in the right box, which determines your vertical position). Odd or partial numbers yield soft titles evey time. You’d think they could just design a way for the title to “snap” to the even numbered lines, saving this hassle.
