June 1, 2005 at 3:03 pmNot the Pal AVI Matrox dv codec.
My question was about to know the field order because Vegas interprets a Matrox avi files as a Lower Filed first, but I’m sure it’s a Upper Field.
Any idea? -

June 1, 2005 at 4:09 pmwhether a file is encoded as upper field first or lower field first, the way software knows which is set by a data bit in the AVI header. if the bit is set incorrectly, obviously application software will read the wrong value. there is some software available that allows you to reset the data bit in the header.
