field option deinterlace effect…
hi,
is it possible to apply an field option effect (fe deinterlace) to multiple clips in the timeline at once?
when choosing multiple clips this option is not available anymore, someone a workaround?

No workaround. Sucks, doesn’t it? One of my pet peeves. If the export functions deinterlaced better, I wouldn’t have to worry about it. As it is, I put all of my clips into sequences and deinterlace it there. Then I subclip the sequence.

wel 2 things, first i love the deinterlace option, i use it all the time, but it’s time consuming to click on every clip to deinterlace it, especially when we are talking programs of 1 hour heavily cut…

As I said, that is why I generally deinterlace before I cut. But that only helps on movies I know will be for the Internet. I don’t like to do that on movies destined for HD distribution because it loses quality.
