I’m going to be doing a lot of interviews in the field and will need to offload the P2 cards as I go. I have a windows based laptop I can use but I edit on Final Cut. Are there any issues I should be concerned about? I know that Mac and Windows often don’t play nicely together.

No…no worries at all. P2 cards are Fat32 based, and have the same file size limitations as PC drive formats. Just format your offloading drive as Fat32….and backup the cards. Then connect the drive to the Mac and Log and Transfer.

Many of my shooters use PCs for field offloads.

That’s what I thought, but I wanted to make sure… Many thanks!
