    Howdy cowsters and video pros,
I am looking at some field monitor options that use regular rechargeable batteries. I am looking for a SD (but could have HD) monitor that will run on Nickel Metal Hydride double A’s or simliar. It would be a plus if the monitor had a power adaptor option to act as a program monitor for my camera on a multi-cam sports mobile.

    Any thoughts???
    Cheers
    Jim

Jim: Most of the monitors with a nice resolution usually draw current that requires larger rechargeable batteries. Anton/Bauer offers 14.4 volt batteries that handle the power draw for most professional batteries. If you are intersted in powering small 7.2 volt cameras, we offer Gold Mount (Anton/Bauer) battery mounts that have a voltage converter built in so you can power your 7.2 volt camera with a 14.4 volt battery.
