Field monitor for the EX-1 and outputting for IMAG
I have a Sony PMW-EX1, and would like to add on a field monitor for when I shoot interviews, and when I shoot live events for IMAG.

- Cannot output as HDMI without an SDI to HDMI converter box
- Cannot output to SDI/component and composite outputs the same time
- Can output to SDI and composite outputs at the same time
I would like to output to the field monitor and to the projector (via composite) at the same time. However, I’m trying to do it without purchasing a splitter or amp requiring AC power. I’m also trying to purchase a field monitor in the $500-600 price range. It seems that purchasing a field monitor with a loop through function might solve my problem – though they’re generally closer to $1,000.
Any ideas on solving this puzzle?

Hi, Try Manhattan LCD monitors. They have different resolution monitors for sale. I have owned a Manhattan LCD moniTOR MODEL HD089C (high Def.) I am very happy with it.
