Field dominance
I was wondering if it’s neccessary that the field dominance in my sequence be set to Lower Field. I use DV footage, but I’m also importing After Effects animations that have no field dominance. Would the DV footage be negatively affected if I set the sequence for no field dominance? Would there be a reason I should do this?
Should I set the After Effects animations to lower field first? Does that make a difference in the quality or will it look the same as with no field dominance (if the sequence was set for lower field)? It’s eventually going to be on a DVD (probably not an HDVD).
