  field display problem (not usual motion shearing)

  Hi, I am currently having a display problem in Final Cut that I believe is related to field dominance. It is not the usual shearing of video associated with the wrong field order being set in the Sequence and Video Output settings. This is a jagged video image on playback (and output) that looks like the wrong field is being displayed. One clip will look ok, the next will look bad, then going back to the first one, it will look bad. It seems to happen completely randomly but I can’t get it to stop. Even stranger, displaying a bad clip, then switching to another app, say the Finder, then switching back to FCP, it will correct itself. You can actually see it moving up a field. It does this on two separate systems, one with Igniter 6.3 drivers and FCP 4.1.1 and another with Igniter 6.4.1 drivers and FCP 4.5.

  Have you ever heard of this happening? Any help here would be great.
