    Fibre Channel Platform Registration Service could not register the platform

    Hi,

    I recently noticed the following problem on one of my machines:

    The Fibre Channel Platform Registration Service could not register the platform with fabric 10:00:00:05:1e:0a:da:f7

    This error message appears in the event viewer under the System tab and appears almost every 20 to 25 minutes. Searching the Microsoft sites as well as general Internet reveals very limited information regarding this problem as well as the service FCRegSvc.

    Anybody know what this error message mean and what I should do about it?

    Looks like a problem with the WWPN. What kind of fiber equipment are you using? HBA and Switch?
