Fibal Cut Express 4 Question
Hi im switiching to an iMac by the end if this week and im going to get Final Cut Express 4. I just have quick questions(that i forgot to ask at the Apple store today). Are you able to create a watermark for your videos in FCE 4 and is it compatibale with an AVCHD camcorder that records in 1080i. Also im use to Vegas Pro do you think I will be satisfied with FCE? Thanks for anyone who can help me out!

You can create a clip with transparency to act as a watermark – such as a photoshop or PNG file.
I don’t think FCE handles AVCHD natively. You’ll need something like mpeg streamclip…
And last – you’ll be frustrated, because it’s not as capable as Vegas.
