    Hello,

I have mapped the FF & RW to my keyboard so I can go to the next Edit or the Previous edit on the timeline.

I am at the beginning of the timeline and there is an edit I made 1 second into the timeline. When I pres the FF Key to go to the next Edit, it skips over the 1st edit, which is 1 second in, and lands on the second edit which is 8 seconds in.

Why does it skip the 1st edit? I have the monitor button on the right track, but still it skips over that first edit point.

    Thanks in advance

Track selectors (not monitoring) determine your stop points.

It will skip to the next edit that occurs at the instance where your track selectors are telling it to go. In other words if you have V1 and A1 selected, it is going to look for an edit that occurs at both V1 and A1.

If you only have V1 selected, it will go to your next V1 edit.

If you have V2 selected, and only have edits on V1, it will go to the end of the timeline.
It is the same thing when selecting the Mark in to out button.

    Make sense?

    Glenn
