I have a project I am finishing on DVD and Blu-Ray.

I have 10 x hour long audio tapes that I want to add as bonus features to an HD feature film. I want to have an image in the BG and the ability to advance the audio track forward or backwards.

In the DVD version, it works fine if I put something like 10 of the same images in a slideshow and the audio as the background audio track. Then when you click the next chapter button, then it jumps about 10 minutes in the audio. This works.

    But.

In the Blu-Ray it behaves differently. The audio stays fixed and the pictures advance.

Trying a work around, I created the image as a menu, instead of a slideshow, with the audio as the background track.

I had noticed that in Blu-Ray menus with audio, you can pause, rewind, and fast forward.

This in theory would work, but then I was getting “Not Enough Free Space”, Error 25.

I think because now Encore was thinking that this menu was an hour long HD video and not just a single still image. I checked the Sources to confirm, it was a 13GB menu.

    So this won’t work.

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks
