Feels like a stupid question….
Why when I apply CC Burn Film to a text layer it just kinda fades the test out rather than sharp edge burning

Hmmm… you wouldn’t happen to have any adjustment layers with any effects that would make it do that, over your layer that has the CC Burn Film effect applied to it do you?
That is the only thing that I could think would be wrong…
