is there really no way, to pause rendering in resolve? of course you can just stop rendering and restart from wherever you stopped by setting a new MARK IN in the timeline.

on very fast machines this might not be an issue. but on the slower ones the computer gets very slow in responding to any commands while resolve renders. it would be nice being able to just PAUSE it for a while…

    thanks – martin

    Gets my vote.

I would also see a more Scratch or Smoke like render data management.
Instead of telling me every time that I am rendering to the same folder, which is cute , by the way, I would like the application to have a look what really has been rendered.
And if the frames are there, just dont render..
Or ask me if I would like to overwrite them.
And if some frames are existing, just render the remaining ones.
The best would be to check the timeline to determine if one or multiple shots have been updated since the last render and then only those.

    ppuhh….yeah…thats how Scratch works 🙂
Almost impossible to get lost in render land.
And Smoke ALWAYS renders everything to disk first before exporting anything which really helps playing back big stuff.

    A slice of color…
