    Hi
to all the blackmagic people on this forum

I am wondering if would be possible to add this feature :

Online and Offline Side By side on the SDI Screen playing back together (like the playheads)
That is avery good feature that other system have,

And also would be very useful have a way to have side by side on the SDI even 2 or more different versions of the same shot playing back (to evaluate which one works best on long complex takes

hope you guys at blackmagic will consider this

    Thanks

    g

Just think out loud here but with 3D aren’t you basically playing 2 streams at the same time, i.e. this should virtually be a remodeling of the 3D-output? Sounds like a brilliant feature being able to play 2 versions side-by-side.

    – Comparing grades
    – Comparing graded version to un-graded version
    – Comparing online version to offline version

That’s an interesting feature request. I like it.

Have completed several 3D projects on other system, but am testing 3D with Resolve presently.
The side by side grading is terrific, with two 2K live streams. Convergence adjusts are working, with aspect, ie pincushion adjustments coming soon, I am told.

This feature is available on my FilmMaster system through just the single 3G SDI port. I have the option of rescaling my SDI picture and can zoom/1:1 as well as do two up over a single SDI port in compare mode.

Should be easily possible without going 3D
