  • Feature request: Moving a Group of Markers OR keeping Markers in sync

Here is a feature request I have seen posted. Maybe someone has some new information.

I have a timeline with 30 or 40 markers. I add a clip at the beginning (a new Open) and ALL the markers are out of sync. Yeah, I can go to each and every marker and add a few seconds (+ -), but why should I have to spend a lot of time doing something the program should?

When I insert a clip or delete a clip, the timing of the markers should follow. Shouldn’t it?

You should put markers on your clips and not on your timeline. That way the markers will move with the clips.

OK. But putting markers on the clips doesn’t allow you to navigate to them using Shift-M or Alt-M. You have to zoom in on the timeline and scroll across to find each Marker. Not very efficient, but thanks for the suggestion.

Use Shift up and down to scroll through markers. That way you wont have to zoom in and out of the timeline.
