feature request: MBP to Multibridge
Hi there,
Wouldn’t it be cool to have the MacBook Pro connect to a Multibridge?
How about a connector on the ExpressCard/34 slot?It might not be enough for HD, but SD on the road is pretty cool. (FW800 on the 17″ would allow for storage.)

p.s.: forgot to mention the possibility to monitor HDV, DVCPRO HD and other flavors (SheerVideo would be nice 😉

There’s an OEM supplier which is coming out with an ExpressCard/34 SDI-HD SDI card soon. If only Blackmagic could take the hardware, add their software and component I/0, it would be terrific. As for disk speed and such, many of us are frequently using Decklink products with applications which basically play cached frames from RAM (as After Effects, Motion, Combustion), so it would still be completly useful.
