Trailer for an upcoming feature shot on the HVX200A at 1080P, 24PA

I got a headache searching for 720P vs 1080P threads, and the fact of the matter is 1080P has about 20% more res than 720P. Of course you get Variable Frame Rates in 720P and more card space, but i think anything for big screens, more res is a bonus

GIven the choice between those two frame sizes, all I really care about is the story. 20% more resolution doesn’t matter if the story sucks. If the story is great, it can be shot on a DV camera for all we care (28 Days Later, for example).

Hi, shane, the issue here is not if one can shoot a good story with a webcam (its been done). Its the 720P vs 1080P on the HVX. Do a google search and you’ll have fun all day hearing different opinions about it.

OH, this has been said and said and said. Yet people will still ask and ask and ask.
