    Hi William. I suspect your problem is that you have a small mask area and a massive feathering of 635 pixels. Try pulling the feathering way, way back and increasing the Mask Expansion to see if that gives you what you need.

    To add more information, it is one mask on a solid that has the fractal noise effect on it.

    might be the effect that’s causing that. Try putting the mask on a solid layer above the layer with the effect on it. Then use the solid with the mask as an alpha track matte.
