hey guys
how do I mask in MC 5?
I am doing some color correcting and in one shot the sky is white and I want to color correct only that part of the frame and make it blue and leave the rest of the frame with the original color. in FCP I can duplicat the video, crop, feather and color correct… but I am not sure how do I feather edges in Avidthanks

One option would be to add an Animatte effect, which allows you to draw up various shapes, using a soft brush if you like.

match frame on ther clip on v1, lay that same clip on v2, color correct it as desired, nest an animatte effect on it, draw your mask and feather.
