June 21, 2012 at 7:59 amOr Create a new folder within Applications called FCPX and put FCPX in it (Motion 5 and Compressor 4 as well). Then install FCS as normal.

June 21, 2012 at 10:01 amYou may not want to do that. There’s never going to be an update to the studio apps, but you probably don’t want to hide the current versions.

June 21, 2012 at 10:05 amThe App Store doesn’t seem to have a problem finding Apps within subfolders. Does the old software update need to see the new apps as well?
