    It’s a small improvement, but when you are importing XDCam clips in the background, you can edit in FCP without playback stopping every time a clip is imported.

    I’ve also noticed XDCam playback on the timeline is much improved, with the 422 codec there is no longer the slight lag that there was with FCP6
