  • FCS2 logging HDV footage question..a touch long, sorry

    I import footage into FCS2 from a Canon XH-A1.
    I put in a reel number and a short description and have to use the ‘capture now’ setting.

    The clips come into the logging bin with the description and then a
    number, i.e. Reel 06,(description), untitled 2-33.

    Here is my question;
    I naturally want to describe the clip in more specific’s than how
    it comes into the bin.
    Eace time I rename a clip, do I have to go to the Modify Menu/Rename/rename file to match clip, for each changed clip description?
    Or,
    is there a better way?

    Thank you,

    David

    You can make all your changes and then select all the clips and change them in one shot.

    No way! Really?
    Whew…
    I have about 25 hours to log.
    (talk about Chaos…)

    Thank you,

    David
