    Retailers have also been returning their FCS boxed copies to Apple, from what I heard. Looks like there could be a cottage industry of selling FCS on eBay.

    Yup, Basically if you’re a first time purchaser needing some of the “Pro” features or you finally have a reason to move from FCS2 to FCS2009 you’re about to become an Adobe sales (or maybe Avid).

    Me, I’m hosed because I’m on a MacPro 3.1 8 core with a Radeon 2600 and Apple does NOT support the Radeon 5770 or 5870 in that model (although it does work so I’m told but no reports if that’s the case with FCPX).

    I’m wondering if 3rd party vendors will still have it. Seems kinda dumb to me to pull them. I’m going to need a copy come august/sept, but now i might just be forced to learn premiere for a bit till FCP X is up to speed.
