  FCPX xml to Resolve issue

  I have a project edited on an iMac in FCPX (10.1.1) with files from a Sony F5 (XAVC). When I export an xml file and import it to Resolve on a different machine (MacPro), the files are not found.

  Let me qualify this.

  The original XAVC files are on the MacPro where Resolve resides.
  But, FCPX (on the iMac), upon import, changes the names of the original files to something like: 2014-04-05 12:09:56.

  Does Resolve (on the MacPro) not recognize the xml data due to the file names being different?

  I would imagine this being the case but, how do people get around this when there are different editors/colorists working on the same project on different machines?
