  FCPX Widescreen or 4K?

  Hi, I know this has been discussed before but I cannot seem to find anyone discussing 4k footage and which they use.

  I am a web designer so use Sketch/Photoshop primarily and use FCPX when I edit my GoPro 4k videos as a hobby.

  I am looking for a screen which gives me space to see the preview along with the timeline when doing color correction as my 15″ MBP is a struggle as my current external monitor is not too great as I have to zoom out so cannot see the detail too well.

  I will be editing the timeline using proxies so not sure I need a 4k, however, when I do the 4K color correction I will be switching between proxies and the 4k footage.

  I am looking at either:

  LG 34UB88-B 34″ Ultrawide Monitor
  BenQ PD3200U 32 inch

  Any help would be great.
