    FCPX to Final Cut 6?

    Hey, I’m currently doing basic edits (mostly syncing audio files to visuals) in the free trial of FCPX because I don’t have access to my own computer right now. However, the person who I’m editing for owns Final Cut 6 and needs to have my edits in that earlier version. Does anyone know how to properly convert a FCPX project to FCP6, or if it is even capable of backwards compatibility?

    There is no backward compatibility. Intelligent Assistance has an app called X27, which will go from X to 7. Whether this will work with 6 I don’t know. You should contact them and se if they can help.
