  fcpx to 7 whole project

  Hello all,

  I have to move a project from fcp x to 7. The purpose is to re-edit a movie, but I never worked with fcpx before, and there’s not enough time to learn it first. So fcp 7 will be the fastest way I think.

  I have an application ‘project X27’ this way I should be able to convert my project. But when I try it, I have 2 big problems.
  • in fcpx the event I want to export has a yellow rectangle, and when I select this event and try to export an XML, FCPX crashes. I can’t find what causes the yellow rectangle.
  • when I export an XML of the sequence I need, and import it in FCP7, there are black holes in the timeline that shouldn’t be there. And an ever bigger problem for me is that every clip in the timeline is now a sequence.
  The clips had separate audio and video, and were synced. now when I matchframe, the sync is lost.

  Is there a good way to do what I want? Or will I have to sync everything again?
