FCPX Slowing Everything
I am on FCPX 10.0.9, When i am Editing a Small Minute Clip, It freezes up every time i need to Do an Actually Edit, When i click on a clips, cut a clip or just adjust a clip, it Freezes up for a few Second and catches up, sometime is happens when i Watch the clips too. Now it some time Freezes the entire Computer. I must be doing something wrong,
Now under the Preferences, i have a lot uncheck, no background render etc…
I am editing with Original files connected.
Could it be My computer?
Or is it because i Am connected to the Original FilesHere my Stats

It could be because of the format of your original media, transcoding to proxy or optimized should help with that.
It could be because of corrupt preferences, I would recommend using Digital Rebellion’s preference manager to trash your preferences and see if that helps.
Or it could be your hard drive, if it’s failing or USB 2.0 that would cause a lot of slow-downs.
