I’m using fcpx on a Macbook Pro and trying to show either Viewer or Events on my iMac via a thunderbolt connection. I was able to do this a few days ago but now the Show Events/Viewer on Second Display options are greyed out.

Can someone point me to what I might be overlooking?

    Thanks, JC

Are you seeing stuff on your second display? Are you mirroring? You don’t want mirroring.

Thanks for your reply. I figured it out. I needed to first engage my iMac for external display (Command-F2), then go back to the Window menu on my Macbook to make the display options active.
