  FCPX – Rendering and export format

  Hi.

  I’m editing H.264 natively in FCPX and wondering if the “Render format” setting in any way affect the export quality?

  Does the export base the rendering from the rendered files in the render format or does it render directly from the source H.264 files?

  If i’m sending my project to Compressor by choosing “Send to Compressor”, does it send it in the rendered format or does Compressor then use from the original file (or maybe uncompressed video stream from FCPX?)?
