FCPX, RED and Logic Pro
Trying to send audio via FCP XML to Logic Pro.
The project has RED files but the videos have been stripped and only WAV files are intact.
However, some of the files are using the AUDIO SYNC technique and some might have been mixed up with RED audio.
The Unsupported Movie Format error pops up but I can’t seem to find the suspect clip in Logic and its stripped from the FCPX Project.
The is that it’s asking me to convert the movie to QuickTime 7. Not gonna happen 😛
The other issue is when saving the Logic file you get two options.
Package or Folders.
Well just like the last issue I had with Consolidating in FCPX when using Folders, Logic creates a folder as well as same data in the Package. This doubles up the data for some weird reason.
And I tested the Logic doc with the folder hidden and it wont work.
So with Folder as the option, it seems to double up files.
Just curious as to why I’ll just keep using Package.
